Tibetan dzi bead made from etched black agate that features a 9-eyed design and a weathered, distressed aesthetic. The beads look as if they had just been unearthed from the ground, where the gods deposited them, after being there for thousands of years. The 9-eyed pattern is the most desirable dzi pattern. Dzi beads, highly prized in Tibet, serve as protective amulets from a variety of maladies and evils.
