Description
Antique Himalayan carnelian bead displaying beautiful patina and ages marks. This bead has a gorgeous depth of color that is reminiscent of a fiery sunset with its varying hues. The wear pattern around the holes indicate this bead has been well worn, possibly as hair adornment. These were actually obtained through trade with another collector who maintained they are Tibetan in origin however we are unable to personally verify that beyond originating from the Himalayan regions in general.
Measurements: 28mm x 14mm
The hole is somewhat difficult to measure with accuracy as it varies on either side because of the antique drilling methods used to make the hole. Something under 1mm could fit through it with ease.
