Amulet style Tibetan prayer pendant depicting a miniaturized Tibetan thangka painting of Amitayus buddha that is wrapped in thread. Underneath the thangka and thread are prayers associated with this buddha. Amitayus and Amitabha are actually one in the same. However, there is a distinct difference in their presentation and meaning within their respective thangka paintings. Here he is shown in his spiritual form holding a longevity vase whereas Amitabha is shown in the form body. Amitayus is associated with longevity. Handmade in Nepal.
