Beautiful antique Himalayan carnelian bead displaying lovely patina and age pitting. Some surface fissures are present further indicating age. The bead also displays a lovely multicolored pattern that actually bisects the bead into light and dark. These were actually obtained through trade with another collector who maintained they are Tibetan in origin however we are unable to personally verify the origin beyond being Himalayan in general.

Measurements: 18mm x 11mm

The hole is somewhat difficult to measure with accuracy as it varies on either side because of its antiquity and the drilling methods used to make the hole. Something under 1mm could fit through it with ease.
