Antique Himalayan carnelian bead displaying patina and very minimal age marks. The wear pattern around the hole indicates this bead has been well worn, possibly as hair adornment. These were actually obtained through trade with another collector who maintained they are Tibetan in origin however we are unable to personally verify that other than being originating from the Himalayan regions in general.
Measurements: 24.5mm x 12mm
The hole is somewhat difficult to measure with accuracy as it varies on either side because of the antique drilling methods used to make the hole. Something under 1mm could fit through it with ease.
