Antique Himalayan carnelian bead displaying patina and surface pitting from age. It is also has somewhat of an abstract vase shape to it. One of the holes has a wear pattern that indicates possible usage. These were actually obtained through trade with another collector who maintained they are Tibetan in origin however we are unable to personally verify that beyond originating from the Himalayan regions in general.
Measurements: 20.75mm x 10mm
The hole is somewhat difficult to measure with accuracy as it varies on either side because of the antique drilling methods used to make the hole. Something under 1mm could fit through it with ease.
